Let the age of  Bhaswani be x years

According to question age of Pinaki is x – 9 years

After 13 years, age of  Bhaswani is x + 13 years

Now after 13 years, age of Pinaki will be x – 9 + 13 = x – 4 years.

So x + 13 = 1.2(x + 4)

 X + 13 = 1.2 x + 4.8

X – 1.2 x = 8.2

0.2 x = 8.2

 X = 8.2 / 0.2
