So by making the ends of the nails and pins pointed ,they can penetrate through a surface easily ..❤️❤️❤️

Its a simple logic of pressure distribution. pressure applied on the head of nail or Pin when delivered through a pointed end, it have a lot more impact and as a result the nail is penetrated.

More pressure- Less Area- Efficient penetration
Same Pressure- More Area- No or relatively less results.
