pipe A can fill a tank in 1 hour = 1/5
pipe B can fill a tank in 1 hour = 1/6
pipe C can empty a tank in 1 hour = 1/12
So tank filled in 1 hour by 3 pipes = 1/5 + 1/6 -1/12
=17/60
As tank is half full
So 17/60 th tank filled in 1 hour
1/2 th tank filled in 60/17 × 1/2. = 30/17 hours = 1.764 hours = 105.88 minutes
After 105.88 minutes tank would be full
