x^2-4 is factor of mx^3-x^2-2x+nx
x^2-4=(x+2)(x-2)
means x+2 and x-2 are also factors of given equation
By using factors theorem
m (2)^3-(2)^2-2 (2)+n=0
8m-4-4+n=0
8m+n=8. .... (1)
m (-2)^3-(-2)^2-2 (-2)+n=0
-8m-4+4+n=0
8m-n=0. .... (2)
By adding equation 1 and 2 we get
16m=8
m=1/2
n=4
2m+n
=2 (1/2)+4
=5
