On 16th March 1911, she started Sakhawat Memorial Girls School in Calcutta at 13.
However, by 1917, the school took a turn and slowly started to become English Middle Girls School.
By the year 1931, it was known as High English Girls School.
This was all the efforts put up by Roquiah.
