Places A and B are 30km apart and they are on a straight road. Hamid travels from A to B on bike. At the same time Joseph start from B on bike, travel towards A. They meet each other after 20 minutes. If Joseph would have started from B at the same time but in the opposite direction. Hamid would have caught him after 3 hours. if humis caught joseph in 3 hour,
it means hamis covers 30km more than joseph in 3 hours.
so, if speed of joseph is xkmph
speed of Hamis= joseph+10= x+10
so from question 20m= 20/60=1/3hours.
from question.,
1/3(x+x+10)= 30
2x+10=90
2x= 90-10
x= 80/2= 40kmph
speed of joseph(x)= 40kmph
so speed oh Hamis= x+10=40+10= 50kmph
it means hamis covers 30km more than joseph in 3 hours.
