India's major mineral resources are Coal being the fourth-largest reserves in the world, Manganese, Iron ore, Mica, Titanium ore, Chromite, Bauxite, Natural gas, Petroleum, Limestone, Diamonds, and Thorium.
India does not produce enough oil and is dependent on foreign oil imports and coal for its energy needs.
