Plant cell swell up in dilute medium. Why does this happen? Name the process involved and type of solution.

Becoz water is a hypitonic sol. And cell is hypertonic means concebtration of water is more in water sol. And less in plants so water may move from reason of higher concebtration to lower concentration by process of osmosis. The sol. Are water=hypotonic and plant hypertonic and process is diffusion
