Plants are photosynthetic autotrophs. What does this mean?

This means that plant have chlorophyll and so can perform photosynthesis. So they are called photosynthetic .

And as they can perform photosynthesis it means that they can produce their own food so they are called autotrophs.


So by combining them they are called photosynthetic autotrophs.
