plants get their food from a chemical reaction in their cells. The reaction uses carbondioxide (gas)and water (liquid) to make glucose (solid).how can a gas and a liquid react to form a solid ?discuss

Plants doesn't make solid glucose, it's still in a solution of glucose when heated the water vaporise
