It is true that if plant do not contains chrolophyll then they are unable to carry out photosynthesis.

Cholorophyll is the green pigment which is found in choloroplast and it is found in plastids of a plant cell and their functions is that they trap solar energy to perform photosynthesis so if it will be not there then the photosynthesis will not occur and if it will not occur then they cannot be able to make their own food and we cannot be able to get oxygen which is essential for us to breathe or in the process of respiration.
