AEROBIC RESPIRATION :-
- aerobic respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen.
- it occurs in mitochondria of the cell.
- end products of aerobic respiration are carbondioxide (Co2) and water (H2O)
- large amount of heat is released in this type of respiration as compared to anaerobic respiration.
ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION :-
- anaerobic respiration takes place in the absence of oxygen.
- it occurs on cytoplasm of the cell.
- end products of anaerobic respiration are alcohol, carbondioxide or lactic acid.
- less amount of heat is released in this type of respiration as compared to anaerobic respiration.
