Weeds and sea plants: as they don't receive much sunlight
Non-green plants: as they don't have chlorophyll in them, which is the most important source for plants to make food

Non-green plants cannot carry over photosynthesis because of the absence of chlorophyll. Some examples of non-green plants are mushroom, Indian pipe and morchella.
Desert plants cannot carry over photosynthesis because as they don't get enough of water. Some examples are cactus ans date palm.
