Plasmolysis is the process in which the cell membrane or the plasma membrane shrinks and the protoplasm contracts as a result of loss of water from the cell when it is placed in a hypertonic solution.
In a boiled plant, the cell membrane disintegrates, so there will be no shrinkage, hence plasmolysis will not occur.
