Hello dear,
plastics can be easily moulded, so they are used to make a large variety of articles (or objects) having different shapes and size.
But plastics causes pollution. It should not be used. Instead of plastic paper bags or cloth bags should be used.

Plastic is a synthetic material which can be moulded into any desired shape on heating.
Plastic are actually synthetic polymer.
Some common plastics are :
1. Bakelite
2. Nylon
3. PVC.
There are two types of plastids on the basis of polymer chain :
1. Thermosetting , this can't be molded again and again.
2. Thermoplastic , this plastic can be moulded again and again.
Actually what happens during moulding only linking of polymers takes place for giving any desire shape or size to an article.
