Firstly Indian people can nvr gt rid of plastic...i.e., similarly india can also nvr be plastic free... And plastic is boon to India created by most beautiful creature that is man. And saying about positive step then I believe that it is the most negative step taken by our honoured pm leading to further decrease in gdp and many Indian engaged in the plastic business evn committed suicide. And yeah I positively believe that plastic is not a curse or bane instead its a boon for india's development. As the plastic is totally recyclable...i knw kush industries runned by Mr Heer kanunga , that industry recycles the plastic bags produced by them and no doubt plastic is seen on the roads, dump n on open ground... Bt plastic ban is not the solution instead disincentive should be imposed by the government on those who throws away the plastic on roads... We can also find many among us eating tobacco which causes cancer still govt didn't stopped the mfg of tobacco instead govt started making the public aware abt it ... Similarly plastic when eaten by cows causes damage to their health bt it's mfg shouldn't be stopped and anyway if plastic is thrown on the road n eaten by the cows it may lead to animals death bt the usage of tobacco leads to the death of many human that is the working population of country...evn the waters are packed in plastic bags by the companies like real ,balaji etc and that bags are totally not recyclable and can't be used again after it is used once while plastic begs are recyclable and can also be used again if stored by the house wifes

Actually this answer is not written by me to hurt you...bt actually I just wanted to awake the Indian population. Our Indians need a mental revolution so that the psychology of people about many things can be modified.

I feel from the depth of my heart that before taking any decision government should think about the results of the newly formed decision then only the Indian population can achieve economic growth and with the modified thinking, the indian population can lead indiat towards the path of development and India will once again become the "golden bird"
