Given:-

  1. In ∆ABC , AB is 24 cm , AC is 26 cm and BC is 10 cm.

To find:-

  • Angle B.

Solution:-

  • First we will prove that, ∆ABC is right angled triangle.

We know that,

Pythagoras theorem is :

 \boxed{ \bold{ {Base}^{2}  + Perpendicular^{2}  =  {Hypotenuse}^{2} }}

Let,

Perpendicular =AB = 24 cm

Hypotenuse = AC = 26 cm

Base = BC = 10 cm.

So,

 \implies \sf  {(24)}^{2}  +  {(10)}^{2}  =  {(26)}^{2}

 \implies \sf 576 + 100 = 676

 \implies \sf 676 = 676

Thus, ∆ABC is right angled triangle.

Angle B is of 90° beacuse AB is perpendicular which is forming on base BC. And ∆ABC is right angled triangle.

Therefore,

 \large \boxed{ \bold{  \angle B = 90 \degree}}
