b = 2/3

c = 3/7

so, a× (b+c) = a×b + a×c

1/2 × (2/3 +3/7) = 1/2 × 2/3 + 1/2 × 3/7

1/2× (23/21) = 1/3 + 3/14

23/42 = 23/42

hence, LHS = RHS ....proved
