As you know, power is the work done per unit time. The work done is same as the potential energy of the object.
For the butterfly, it flies 0.5m per second. So, Power = Work done per unit time = mgh
Mass of the butterfly (m) = 1g = 0.001kg = 10m/s
h= 0.5m (in one second)
Therefore,(butterfly) = 0.001/10×0.5 =0.005W
For the squirrel, m = 250g=0.25kg
g = 10m/s
h = 0.5m
(squirrel) = 0.25×10×0.5= 1.25W
