Hey Friend ☺

Let the numerator of the fraction be x and denominator be y

So the fraction is x/y

So by the first condition , we get equation

3 × x/ y - 3 = 18/11

》3x/y - 3 = 18/11

》3x × 11 = ( y - 3 ) × 18

》33x = 18y - 54

》33x - 18y = - 54. ... ( I )

By the second condition we get equation
x + 8/2y = 2/5

》( x + 8 ) × 5 = 2y × 2

》5x + 40 = 4y

》5x - 4y = - 40. ... ( II )

By solving this pair of linear equation in two variables you will get your required fraction

Hope it helps you ..!!

Let the numerator be x and denominator be y.
_______________________________________________________

Then According to question,

3x / y-3 = 18/11

      33x = 18(y-3)

      33x = 18y - 54

33x - 18y = -54                         ..............(i)
______________________________________________________

Also,

x+3 / 2y = 2/5

   5(x+8) = 2(2y)

  5x + 40 = 4y

5x - 4y = -40                            ..............(ii)
_____________________________________________________

Solving (i) and (ii)

x = 12         y =25
_____________________________________________________

Hence the fraction = 12/25
