Q2)

Given :

  • Angle A = 96°

let Angle B = Angle C = x

  • Angle Sum Property :

 \\ \large \tt \implies \: 96 \degree + x + x = 180 \degree \\ \\ \large \tt \implies \: 2x = 180 \degree - 96 \degree \\ \\ \large \tt \implies \: x = \frac{84 \degree}{2} \\ \\ \\ \large \underline{ \boxed{ \sf \therefore \: \: x = 42 \degree}} \\

➢ angle B = 42°

➢ angle C = 42°

Q3)

Given :

  • Angle x = 62°

Let angle Y + angle Z = x

  • Angle Sum Property :

 \\ \large \tt \implies \: 62 \degree + x + x = 180 \degree \\ \\ \large \tt \implies \: 2x = 180 \degree - 62 \degree \\ \\ \large \tt \implies \: x = \frac{118 \degree}{2} \\ \\ \\ \large \underline{ \boxed{ \sf \therefore \: \: x = 59 \degree}} \\

➢ Angle Y = 59°

➢ Angle Z = 59°

Q2. Let ABC be an isosceles triangle with vertical angle A = 96° and Angle AB = Angle AC.

Then,

Angle AB = Angle AC → Angle B = Angle C

Angle A + Angle B + Angle C = 180°

Therefore, 96° + 2Angle B = 180° → Angle B = Angle C = 42°

Therefore it's base angles = Angle B = 42°

Angle C = 42°

Q3. XYZ is an isosceles triangle in Angle X = 62° and Angle XY = Angle XZ

Angle XY = Angle XZ → Angle Y = Angle Z

Therefore, Angle X = 62°+ 2Angle Y = 180° → Angle Y = Angle Z = 59°

Therefore, it's base angles = Angle Y =59°

Angle Z = 59°
