Solution !

Q 1:- Coordinate of two points. A(3,4) and B(-2,5)

  • We have to find (Abscissa of A)-(Abscissa of B)

We know that the value of x is abscissa

and value of y = ordinate

Abscissa of A = 3

Abscissa of B= (-2)

(Abscissa of A )-( Abscissa of B)

=> 3-(-2)

= 3+2= 5

Q1 :- Option 3 is the correct answer

Now Q2:-

•x= 3 y= 1

Q:- 2x+5y= k ,Find the value of k

  • put the value of x and y in the given equation

2x+5y= k

2(3) +5(1)= k

6+5=k

11=k

k= 11

Q2:- Option 3 is the correct answer
