 \frac{2x + 3}{3x + 2}  =  \frac{ - 8}{3}  \\  \\ 3(2x + 3) =  - 8(3x + 2) \: by \: cross \: multipliction \\ 6x + 9 =  - 24x - 16 \\ 6x + 24x =  - 16 - 9 \\ 30x =  - 25 \\ x =  \frac{ - 25}{30}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 5}{6}
