yes , element is made of 2 or more atoms but of same kind be coz element are the kinds of atoms that we can have like oxygen there are 2 atom but of same kind .

your teacher is wrong elements are Sundance entirely made up of one type atom as hydrogen atom it contain a single proton and single electron if we add more protons or electrons then type of element will be changed......
