A mass of 1kg is moving from east to west with a velocity 10m/s. a force is applied on it for 2 seconds and it's velocity becomes 5m/s . what is the value and direction of the force ??​

t=2s

a=v-u/t

=5-10/2

=-5/2

=-2.5

f=a

=-2.5*1

=-2.5N

The direction of the force is from West to east.
