Since because of difference in structures of both compounds. BF3 is trigonal planer, although B-F bond is polar but net dipole moment cancels each other and hence non-polar while NF3 is pyramidal in shape, N-F bond being polar and due to pyramidal shape, net dipole adds up and hence NF3 is polar
