a) Autotroph : The organisms who make their own food are known as Autotrophs . Eg - plants , few bacteria

Heterotroph : The organisms who cannot make their own food and derives it's nutrients from organic substances . Eg - Humans , animals

b) Firstly , pither plant stays still and attrac insects towards it . When a insect sits on the pither plant to suck nector , it falls into the hollow bag as the surface is very slippery . The pitcher plant closes it's bag by it's cap so that the insect can't escape. It starts releasing digestive juices and slowly the insect dies and the plant feed on the insect.

c) The organisms who derive it's nutrients from feeding on dead decaying matter are called Saprophytes. Eg - Fungi
