Hi

Take initial amount to be 1

When man spends 2/5 it becomes

1 -  \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{3}{5}

Now the equation becomes

 \frac{3}{5} x = 60 \\ where \: x \: is \: the \: initial \: amount

 \frac{3x}{5} = 60 \\  \\  \implies3x = 60 \times 5 \\ x =  \frac{60 \times 5}{3}  \\  \therefore \:  | x = 100|

Initial amount of the man = ₹100
