Yes, Dobereiner 's triad also existed in the columns of Newland's octaves.
For Example,
Li, Na, k are present in the second column of Newland's classification of elements.
If we start with Li ,as the first element then the 8th element is Na and if we take Na as a first element, then the 8th element is k .
The properties of 1st and 8th elements should be similar as per Newland's law of Octave.
As, Li , Na, k from a Dobereiner's triads having similar chemical properties. This shows that Dobereiner's triads were also exist in columns of Newland's Octaves.
