Given :   x + y  + √3(y - x)  = a

To Find  : Equations of line passing through origin and inclined at 75°

Solution:

x + y  + √3(y - x)  = a

=> y ( √3 + 1)   = x (√3 - 1)    + a

=> y =  x (√3 - 1) / ( √3 + 1)    + a

m =  (√3 - 1) / ( √3 + 1)

=> m = ( 1   - 1/√3 ) / ( 1 + 1/√3)

=> m =   (tan π/4 -  tan π/6) / ( 1  + tanπ/4 . tan π/6)

=> m = tan (  π/4 - π/6)

=> m = tan 15°

=> α = 15°  inclined at 15°

inclined at 75°

=> 15° ± 75°  =  - 60°   , 90°

tan - 60°  = - √3

tan 90°  =  1/0

y - y₁  = m (x - x₁)

passed through origin

Hence y = mx

=> y = - √3x

=> √3x  + y = 0

y = (1/0)x

=> x = 0

√3x  + y = 0  and   x = 0  are the Equations of line passing through origin and inclined at 75°
