Let the ordinate be y
Length = √[(x1-x2)² + (y1-y2)²] = √10
√[(2-5)² + (-3-y)²] = √[(-3)²+(-3-y)² = √10
Squaring both sides
9 + (-3-y)² = 10
(-3-y)² = 1
-3-y=1
y=-4
