hello frnd!!

we all know that metals are good conductors of heat. mercury are used in thermometer because of the following reasons:-

1. it is the only metal in liquid state at room temperature.

2.it has High coefficient of expansion.

3.it is non sticky viscous metal.

4.it expands uniformly when heated.

5.it is a good conductor of heat.
