Hi army

Let's divide the diagram into two parallelograms.

The formula for the area of a parallelogram is

Area = base × height

So for parallelogram 1, base is 12 cam and height is 4 cm

for height, devide 8 by 2 because it's equal.

So area = 12 × 4 = 48

Since both the parallelograms are equal, area of both is 48 cm

So the total area is 48+48 = 96cm

Hope this helps :)

Study hard Army. Best of luck!
