Hey!!!

●13. ans...

Let x be the current age of the son.

Son = x, Father = 3x

In 12 years

Son = x + 12, Father = 2(x+12) “OR” 3x + 12

2(x + 12) = 3x + 12
2x + 24 = 3x + 12
24 - 12 = x

Therefore, current age of son is 12, and father is 36.

●14.ans.

Let us assume that it takes ‘x’ years for the son to be half of father’s age

So after ‘x’ years

Father’s age =42+x

Son’s age =12+x

Then as per given condition

Son’s age =1/2 of father’s age

That is 12+x=1/2(42+x)

2(12+x)=42+x

24+2x=42+x

2x-x=42–24

x=18

So there you go it takes 18years for the son to be half of his father’s age.

Bro and the ans of 15 is in image.

hope it helps.
