Before, finding the answer with explanation. Let's find out on how we can find the answer.

  • For finding the Volume of Cube, we must use the formula of

  \tt \bf Volume \: of \: Cube  = \sf \: {s \times s \times s}

  • For finding the Volume of Cuboid, we must use the formula of

 \tt \bf Volume \: of \: Cuboid =  \sf{l \times b \times h}

_______________________________

(1) Find the volume of cube whose side is :

(a) 4 cm

Formula for Volume of Cube = s × s × s

= 4 × 4 × 4 cm³

= 64 cm³

Hence, the volume of the Cube is 64 cm³.

(b) 5 cm

Formula for Volume of Cube = s × s × s

= 5 × 5 × 5 cm³

= 125 cm³

Hence, the Volume of the Cube is 125 cm³.

(2) Find the volume of Cuboid whose :

(a) Length = 3 cm, Breadth = 4 cm and Height = 2 cm.

Formula for Cuboid = l × b × h

= 3 × 4 × 2 cm³

= 24 cm³

Hence, the Volume of the cuboid is 24 cm³.

(b) Length = 5 cm, Breadth = 2 cm and Height = 6 cm.

Formula for Cuboid = l × b × h

= 5 × 2 × 6 cm³

= 60 cm³

Hence, the Volume of the Cuboid is 60 cm³.
