X is CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate)

Now, we know that metal carbonate reacts with acid to give metal salt, Carbon-dioxide and water.

Y is Ca(OH)2 (Calcium hydroxide)

Ca(OH)2 + CO2 -----> CaCO3 + H2O

G is Cl2 (Chlorine gas)

Cl2+ Ca(OH)2 -----> CaOCl2 +H2O

So, Z is CaOCl2 (Bleaching powder)
