If one root of the above quadratic equation is double the other then find condition
Solution :
Let x be the one of the given root of this quadratic equation then other root will be 2x
Finding Sum :
Sum of Zeroes = -Coefficient of x/Coefficient of x^2
x + 2x = -m/l
x = -m/3l -----> 1
Finding Product :
Product of zeroes = Constant/Coefficient of x^2
x * 2x = n/l
x^2 = n/2l -----> 2
From (1) and (2)
(-m/3l)^2 = n/2l
-m^2/9l^2 = n/2l
