Answer:

1) yes 0 is a rational number and we can write it in the form of p/q where q ≠ 0. (0/1)

2) 3=3/1                                  4=4/1

by multiplying both numerator and denominator by 10 we get

30/10  and 40/10

six rational numbers between 30/10(3) and 40/10(4) are

31/10 , 32/10 , 33/10 , 34/10 , 35/10 , 36/10..so on till 40/10

3) multiply both numerator and denominator by 10

so it would be

30/50 and 40/50

take any five rational numbers between 30/50 and 40/50

so the answer would be 31/50 , 32/50 , 33/50 , 34/50 , 35/50 , 36/50 , .....so on till 40/50

4)a)true. as whole numbers are natural numbers but with a addition of a number 0.

b)false. integers like -1 or -7 do not belong to whole numbers as whole numbers contain only natural numbers (which are all positive) and 0. (integers contain both positive and negative numbers)

c)false. every rational number such as -2/5 do not belong to whole numbers as whole numbers contain only natural numbers (which are all positive) and 0.(rational numbers contain both positive and negative numbers and fractions)

this took a lot of typing
