{\bigstar}SOLUTION{\bigstar}

1)ADD :

 -  \frac{9}{10}  +  \frac{22}{15}

as the denominators are different ,we should take LCM in order to add the two fractions .

here , LCM = 30

 -  \frac{9 \times 3}{10 \times 3}  +  \frac{22 \times 2}{15 \times 2}

 -  \frac{27}{30}  +  \frac{44}{30}

 \frac{17}{30}

2)SUBTRACT:

 -  \frac{3}{8}   -  \frac{7}{11}

as the denominators are not same ,we should take LCM in order to subtract these fractions

here , LCM = 88

 -  \frac{3 \times 11}{8 \times 11}  -  \frac{7 \times 8}{11 \times 8}

 -  \frac{33}{88}  -  \frac{56}{88}

 -  \frac{89}{88}

3)PRODUCT :

 \frac{3}{11}  \times  \frac{2}{5}

 \frac{6}{55}

4)DIVIDE :-

 -  \frac{1}{8}  \div  \frac{3}{4}

 -  \frac{1}{8}  \times  \frac{4}{3}

 -  \frac{1}{3}

LEAST COMMON FACTOR :-

  • LCM shows the least of the common factors between two operators .

  • LCM is applicable only to addition and subtraction

  • it is applied when the denominators of two fractions are not same ( unlike fractions )

  • with the help of this ,we can easily solve addition and subtraction of unlike fractions
