Given:- ∠B < ∠A and ∠C < ∠D

To prove:- AD < BC

Proof:-

In ΔAOB,

∠B < ∠A

= AO < BO [Side opposite to the greater angle is longer.]

= AO < BO ------ 1

In ΔCOD,

∠C < ∠D

= OD < OC [Side opposite to the greater angle is longer.]

= OD < OC ------ 2

Thus, Adding eq.1 and eq.2 we get,

AO + OD < BO + OC

= AD < BC

Because, AD = AO + OD and BC = BO + OC
