the process of intake of food as well as utilisation of its nutrients by an organism is called nutrition.

autotrophs obtain food by the process of photosynthesis.

photosynthesis is the process by which autotrophs take in substance from outside and convert them into stored form of energy.

   6CO2+12H2O GIVES C6H12O6+6O2+6H2O.

the tiny pore present in the leaves is called stomata.

stomata helps in transpiration and photosynthesis.

the opening and closing of stomata is the function of the gaurd cells

the gaurd cell swell when water flows into them causing stomata to open .

similarly te pore close if the gaurd cell shrink.
