The answers of the given questions are as follows-

  • A material that does not let electricity pass through it is called an electrical insulator. These materials have extremely poor or almost zero electrical conductivity. For example - Wood, plastic, paper etc.
  • Silver is an electrical conductor. Almost every metal are good conductors of electricity including the silver.
  • Rubber is an electrical insulator. Almost every non metal are bad conductors of electricity including the rubber.
  • Electrical wiring usually made from copper because copper conduct electricity. Also, copper is one of the best conductors of electricity with less amount of resistance and fairly cheap (than silver) price.
  • Electrical wearing usually covered with a layer of plastic to make it safe. The upper layer of plastic detaches the external physical touches from the internally flowing electricity.
