Answer:

1) When we drop a few pollen in water, we observe that the Pollen grains start moving. This proves that the particles of matter are continously moving.

2) We can move our hand in the air (gas) and water because there are spaces in between them whereas in solids we cannot move our hands because the particles are closely packed with no spaces in between them.

3) Solids have maximum inter-molecular forces of attraction because the particles of solids are closely packed.

4) Kinetic energy is the highest in gasses.

5) Salt and sugar take the shape of the container but they are called solids. This is because a single salt or sugar crystal has its own shape.
