Concept :-

Here the concept of Perimeter of Square has been used. We see that the perimeter of the square is made to depend on the side of the square. This is the direct implementation of the formula. So firstly we can study about the formula of perimeter of square. Then we can solve this question according to the formula and thus find the answer.

Let's do it !!

______________________________________

Formula Used :-

\;\boxed{\sf{\pink{Perimeter\;of\;Square\;=\;\bf{4\:\times\:Side}}}}

______________________________________

Solution :-

Given,

» Perimeter of square = p

» Length of side of square = a

  • Value of p = 4 × a

  • Value of a = 8 units

We know that,

\;\sf{\rightarrow\;\;Perimeter\;of\;Square\;=\;\bf{4\:\times\:Side}}

Here we see that Perimeter of square is 4 × Side. Also we that in question also it is given the same. The reason because Perimeter is the sum of length of all sides. And we know that all sides of square are equal. Also a square has four sides. Thus this formula is derived.

Then by applying that value in the formula, we get

\;\sf{\rightarrow\;\;p\;=\;\bf{4\:\times\:a}}

\;\sf{\rightarrow\;\;p\;=\;\bf{4\:\times\:8}}

\;\bf{\rightarrow\;\;p\;=\;\bf{\red{32\;\:units}}}

\;\underline{\boxed{\tt{Perimeter\;\:of\;\:Square\;=\;\bf{\purple{32\;\:units}}}}}

More to know :-

\;\tt{\leadsto\;\;Area\;of\;Square\;=\;(Side)^{2}}

\;\tt{\leadsto\;\;Diagonal\;of\;Square\;=\;(Side)\sqrt{2}}

  • All the sides of square are equal.

  • The diagonals of square are equal.

  • The diagonals of square bisect each other at 90° .

  • All the angles of square are equal to 90° .

  • The diagonals of square divide square into two right triangles.

FORMULA OF PERIMETER OF SQUARE = 4 × SIDES

Perimeter of square = p

Length of side of square = a

Length of side of square = a

Value of a = 8 units

Then,

p = 4 × a

p = 4 × 8

p = 32 units

Hence, perimeter of square is 32 units
