As a social worker, your primary responsibility will be to help your clients solve problems. To do that well requires a great deal of sensitivity, but also the ability to synthesize information, and to really understand what is underlying your client's needs. That requires solid communication skills.

A School Social Worker offers guidance and help to students that are struggling in school. They work with Teachers, parents and Administrators to identify problem areas for a student and create a plan on how to help the student adjust and fix their problems.
