(i)
Join one diagonal of the rectangle.
Now by Pythagoras Theorem,
AC² = AB² + BC²
AC = √25+144
AC = √169 = 13cm

Area of shaded region = Area of circle - area of rectangle
= (3.142×13/2×13/2) - (12×5)
= 132.74 - 60
= 72.74 cm²

(ii)
by Pythagoras Theorem,
AC² = AB² + BC²
AC = √49+49
AC = √98 = 9.89cm

Area of shaded region = area of circle - area of triangle
= (22/7×7/2×7/2) - (1/2×7×7)
= 38.5 - 24.5
= 14cm²
