Once there lived an old man. He had four sons. They often quarrelled with each other. The father wanted to make them understand the wisdom of unity. He called the sons to his bedside and gave each one a stick and asked them to break them. The sons broke the sticks with ease. The father then asked the sons to tie some sticks into a bundle and break them. The sons were not able to break it. They learnt the lesson. 'Unity is strength'
