Here is ur answer .

let that √2+√2+√2+√2+......=x ..______1)

then ...

(√2+√2+√2 ......+)²=(x)² [if we squaring in both side ,we get ]

2+√2+√2+√2.....=(x)²

2+x=x²----------(from 1 )

now ..we get

x²-x-2=0

now using quadratic formula of splitting method ..

x²-x-2

=>x²-2x+x-2

=>x(x-2)+1(x-2)

=>(x+1)(x-2)

=>x=-1

and ,another x=2 ..

so..ur answer is option (a)=2

by using quadratic formula
