We will use measuring tape in terms of metres.
Steps :-
By the help my friend we first fix one starting end of the tape at any one corner of playground and we'll measure one side distance and similarly other three sides.

It is very difficult to measure with measuring tape..... Though it is not impossible
How long and wide is playground near your home if any? We can measure it easily by measuring tape and many uses it for marking lines in 100 - 200 meters races.
In athletes..
It will take a lot of acuraccy precision man power.... And stuff like that
Measuring with planimeter will also need these
