Let the number of 20rupee notes be x.

Let the number of 50rupee notes be y.

x=2y................(1)

The second equation is:

20x+50y=2700..............(2)

Multiplying (1)by 20 we get:

20x=40y

=20x-40y=0...............(3)

Subtracting (2) and (3):

90y=2700

y=2700/90

=30

x=2y

=2*30

=60

So she has 60 20rupee notes and 30 50rupee notes
